Jonathan D. Kaney, III Elected Partner
The law firm of Cobb Cole & Bell is pleased to announce that Jonathan D. Kaney III has been elected Partner. Mr. Kaney received his Juris Doctor with honors from Florida State University and joined the firm in 1994. His practice concentrates on media law matters with a special emphasis on First Amendment and open government issues. Mr. Kaney also practices general civil litigation. He has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, indicating very high legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by opinions from members of the Bar. Mr. Kaney is a past president of the Volusia County Young Lawyers Association (now merged with the Volusia County Bar Association), past chair of the Florida Bar's annual Media-Law Conference and past chair of the Florida Bar's Media and Communications Law Committee. Mr. Kaney is also a Barrister in the Dunn-Blount Inn of Court, American Inns of Court Volusia-Flagler Chapter.
