7 firms partner with Embry-Riddle to boost innovation

The seven firms include: International Speedway Corp., DuvaSawko, Cobb Cole, FireSpring Fund, James Moore & Co., Vann Data Services, venVelo.

The firms will provide professional services for small and early-stage startups that are part of the research park.

Embry-Riddle officially announced its research park partners on Aug. 2 at its campus in Daytona Beach. U.S. Congressman John Mica and other local officials were in attendance.

Embry-Riddle’s research park will span nearly 100 acres in Daytona Beach and will include services in areas such as unmanned design, engineering and flight. The John Mica Engineering & Aerospace Innovation Complex, or The MicaPlex – a 50,000-square-foot research center to study aerodynamics and engineering of major planes and unmanned systems – will serve as the anchor for the research park.
