Alanna Smith was born and raised in Ormond Beach, Florida. After completing her undergraduate studies at the Florida State University, she completed her Juris Doctor at Stetson University College of Law. She graduated top 22% of her class and earned the highest grade in Florida Administrative Law, Media Law Seminar and Law & Higher Education Policy.

While pursuing her education, Ms. Smith interned with Cobb Cole in 2021 and served as a law clerk specializing in construction and civil litigation leading up to graduation. She is a licensed attorney in the state of Florida and practices in the areas of land use and construction law.
