Sara E. Glover is a Florida family law trial and appellate attorney whose practice is devoted to representing clients in complex and contested family law matters. She regularly appears before the family law courts throughout Volusia County and Flagler County and represents clients in family law appeals before Florida’s District Courts of Appeal.
Since beginning her practice in 2007, Ms. Glover has focused on family law, representing clients in matters involving dissolution of marriage, high-asset and high-conflict divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, child support, parenting plans and timesharing, paternity, modifications and enforcement proceedings, domestic violence, jurisdictional disputes, and dependency matters. She also has substantial experience drafting, negotiating, enforcing, and challenging prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Ms. Glover is an experienced courtroom advocate. She regularly handles contested evidentiary hearings and trials involving complex financial issues, disputed business and asset valuations, expert witnesses, claims involving separate and marital property, support, parenting disputes, and other fact-intensive family law issues. When a case cannot be resolved on terms that adequately protect her client, Ms. Glover is prepared to litigate the matter through trial. Her practice also extends beyond the trial court. she represents family law clients in appellate proceedings, including appeals before Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal. Her appellate experience provides an additional perspective in trial-level litigation, where developing the record, preserving legal issues, and obtaining clear and legally supportable rulings can be critical. Ms. Glover represents clients throughout Volusia and Flagler Counties and regularly practices before all four family law judges serving Volusia County. She has also represented parties in multiple reported family law appeals before the Fifth District Court of Appeal and continues to maintain an active appellate practice.
Ms. Glover’s approach to family law combines thorough preparation and strategic litigation with practical advice. She recognizes that not every case should be tried and works toward efficient and favorable resolutions when appropriate. In cases involving significant assets, difficult financial questions, high conflict, or issues that cannot reasonably be resolved, however, she brings substantial litigation experience to protecting her client’s interests. As a partner at Cobb Cole, Ms. Glover also has access to attorneys practicing in complementary areas including business, corporate, real estate, tax, estate planning, and civil litigation. This multidisciplinary platform can be particularly valuable in complex divorce cases involving closely held businesses, real property, sophisticated assets, or other issues extending beyond traditional family law.
